This portion of the cow generates movement creating very lean cuts of meat however, the Sirloin Tip is known for being the most tender Steak from this area. Sirloin Tip Steak has a similar flavor profile to a roast.
Cooking Notes: We recommend cooking low and slow over a long period of time to help break down the thick muscle. Sirloin Tip Steaks are a good choice for soups & stews, kabobs, or thinly sliced for a sandwich.
